Classic Bernard Siguier Antique Pine Day Bed with back-rest ?

Antique pine day bed that has served us well over the last 10 years. The manufacturer, Bernard Siguier, is a highly respected for producing high-quality furniture in a classic French country style. Original cost from John Lewis was 950. It has been reasonably well-used, shows some marks, but is otherwise is good condition. It is a beautiful piece which can be used as a sofa or guest bed. It has a second mattress base that slides out from under the main base on wheels, and the legs are spring-loaded so self-raise and lock in place for a sturdy second bed, which is the same height as the main base, thus can be pushed together as a double or left separate as two singles. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ITEM IS BEING SOLD WITHOUT THE MATTRESSES. It was originally supplied without mattresses - we bought a reasonably cheap pair from IKEA and the bed has proved to be extremely comfortable. The slatted mattress frame is made from birch which has been arched to form a sprung support, and is seated in a very strong metal frame. Dimensions: 219cm (L), 75cm (H), 96cm (D) We have had to downsize in house and sadly do not have the room for this in our guest room / study, so must pass it on to its next owner to enjoy :-( The daybed is currently dissembled but is easily reassembled. Comes with instructions / diagrams, requiring only 2 people, hammer for wooden dowels and one long flat-headed screwdriver for the concealed fixings. Collection is preferable, though I am happy to assist in arranging delivery via courier, although this will be at full cost to the buyer, together with insuring the item for any damage in transit (though it is fully dissembled, I cannot package the item - it would be best packed in blankets).
